Be동사 현재시제란? (Am/ Are/ Is)

일반동사와 달리 동작하는 동사가 아니라 주어의 상태를 나타내는 동사

주어의 상태, 생김새, 특징, 성격을 나타낸다

주어의 인칭 및 수에 따라 달라지는 Be동사

Be동사 + 명사, 형용사 ,전치사구

1. Be 동사 + 명사

 

I am a student

2. Be 동사 +형용사

​

I am angry

I am short ( I am a short X)

He is surprise

You are broke

It is interesting

3. Be 동사 + 전치사구 (in, on, at) ~에 있다

​

She is at home

They are on the seventh floor

I am in school.

You are in Korea

It (The dog) is under the sofa.

They are in the hospital.
